Care & Maintenance

Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for your personal fan.

FAN CLEANING

• Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
• Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan housing.
• Use only a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
• Do not use harsh chemicals such as gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner.
• Do not attempt to remove the fan blade.
• Please use caution around the motor housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water.

FAN BLADE CLEANING

• Remove the front grill by opening the clips located around the perimeter.
• Remove the blade by loosening the securing screws.
• Clean the fan blade, front and rear grills with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
• Replace the fan blade and tighten the securing screw.
• Securely fasten the front grill to the rear grill by closing the clips over the perimeter.

FAN HEAD AND BASE CLEANING

• Using a soft, moist cloth, with or without a mild soap solution, carefully clean the fan base (I) and head (C).
• Use CAUTION around the motor housing area.
• Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water

FAN STORAGE

• Store the fan in a clean, dry location between seasons or when not in use for an extended period.
• Keep the fan head protected from dirt and dust during storage.
